1.) Article Writing
If you’re good at writing, being an article writer is something you can do to make extra money from home.
The first site I want to share with you is Upwork, a platform where I’ve previously had great success as freelancer writer. Many people go there all the time to hire article writers. It’s harder when you’re starting but when you pick up a few customers, you become more in demand.
The next site is iWriter, a site which I personally have gone out and paid for articles to be written. It works on a ratings system, and if you’re a top writer, you can earn over $100 for a 1500 words article.
Another great place to consider for article writing is TextBroker. It’s similar to iWriter in that it works on a ratings system. If you write really good, they’ll pay you $0.05/word.

If you know your marketing, creating courses can make you a lot more money compared to most of the other methods in this post.
If you’re not the best at marketing, you can still have an opportunity to make money by creating courses using the following resources. The first website is called Udemy, an educational hub where people go to learn different skills. If you don’t have your own audience, you can leverage this platform to get sales for your course.
If you know marketing, have an audience, and a course that you can launch to people, you can use a platform called Teachable. This platform is pretty cool because you can start with it for free, you don’t have to pay hosting or anything.
7.) Logo/Graphic Designer
If you’re artistic, logo and graphic design is something you can do to make extra money from home.
Fiverr is a great website to start, to get your name out there and just start making some money. The site is pretty basic but it’s cool because you can easily start to make money with it by selling your services. Many people go on Fiverr needing a logo design. When you’re starting out, you might want to charge lower so as to get some customers to give you ratings, then once you do that, you can start to charge more.
The next website is called 99Designs, a crowd-sourcing platform for graphic designers. You’ll sign up as a designer, someone will submit a project that they want completed, and you’ll compete for their service with a bunch of other designers. The client will then choose the person whose design they like the most and work with them.
Another website to consider is DesignCrowd, a crowd-sourcing platform that’s similar to 99Designs.
